Ship Collision Seminar

JTJB Managing Partner Murali Pany hosted a breakfast seminar on Ship Collisions on 8 June 2018 for ship owners, charterers and ship managers. Senior Consultant, Nicholas White from London Offshore Consultants was invited as a guest speaker.

Murali spoke about evidential and procedural issues that could impact recovery of losses while Nick shared his insights on the proper role of a surveyor in a ship collision. The seminar was attended by a variety of companies across the shipping industry.

JTJB launches Education Bursary

JTJB has launched an education bursary for underprivileged children called the JTJB Bursary.

Under this Bursary, JTJB will provide financial assistance to underprivileged children for their education through the 4 main self-help groups in Singapore namely the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC), Yayasan Mendaki (MENDAKI), Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) and the Eurasian Association (EA).

The JTJB Bursary will run for an initial period of 5 years and a MOU was signed between JTJB and the 4 self-help groups on 6 June 2018.

JTJB Managing Partner, K. Murali Pany said “We have set up the JTJB Bursary in conjunction with our 30th anniversary on 1 February 2018 and the ethos of giving back to society. We hope this small contribution will help provide opportunities to underprivileged children to further their education and reach their full potential.”

JTJB´s Munich network office ENDEMANN.SCHMIDT is expanding and proudly announces their new entrant, Ms Sarah Mönninghoff, LL. M. After reading law in the Universities of Munster and Dusseldorf, Sarah focused on Medical law and obtained a master degree in this specialist field.

Before joining ENDEMANN.SCHMIDT Sarah spent several years in different international law firms in Düsseldorf, Munich, New York and the Medical Chamber North Rhine in Düsseldorf. Sarah is a native German and fluent in English and French.
