JTJB PARTICIPATES IN THE ASIA PACIFIC MARITIME AND OFFSHORE CONFERENCE 2014

JTJB’s Managing Partner K Murali Pany was a member of the Maritime Arbitration Panel at the Asia Pacific Maritime and Offshore Conference 2014 held on 30th October 2014.

The Panel was chaired by Mr. Lee Wai Pong, Executive Director of Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA) and the discussion focused on Dispute Handling and Solutions. In particular, the Panel discussed importance of proper Arbitration Clauses and the enforcement of Arbitration Awards. The interactive discussion saw a high level of participation from the delegates.

JTJB CELEBRATES THIS UPCOMING FESTIVE SEASON WITH CHAMPAGNES

 

JTJB’s last Wine Tasting for 2014 was held on 28th November at our office. In view of the upcoming festive season, a series of Champagnes were featured.

The champagnes were paired with a selection of canapés carefully chosen by our wine professional.

The exclusive event provided a memorable experience for all who attended.

DATO’ JUDE P BENNY APPOINTED AS PRESIDENT FOR ADVOC ASIA

JTJB’s Senior Partner Dato’ Jude P Benny was appointed President of the Asian Chapter of ADVOC. Dato’ Benny takes over from Dunstan de Souza, Managing Partner of CBP Lawyers, who was President from 2002 – 2014.

  
JTJB is the only Singapore member of the ADVOC group – a network of international law offices spanning 63 countries. Members of ADVOC are selected to join the network based on their wide experience of commercial work within their region.
