She also provides compliance advice, solutions for managing risk and training in areas such as anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, international sanctions and corporate governance.
Nicola’s extensive background in handling various commercial dispute resolution and shipping matters makes her well-equipped to advise clients on both the advisory and contentious aspects of ESG and regulatory matters. Having commenced her practice in the firm’s Commercial Dispute Resolution and International Trade, Shipping & Logistics Practice Groups, Nicola has acted in a variety of multi-jurisdictional cases over the years and represented clients in arbitrations, meditations and also appeared before the Singapore courts.
Nicola advises local and overseas clients and is fluent in English and Mandarin. She has spoken at various seminars and conferences on ESG and compliance related topics. She is also a trainer at the Singapore Business Federation, the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and the Informaconnect Maritime Trading Academy. She is an Associate Member of the International Compliance Association (AICA), a certified individual of the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore (IBF), a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) and a Committee Member of the SID’s New Directors Network.
