Teoh Yi Lin is a LL.B. (Hons) holder who has graduated from University of London in the year 2018. Thereafter, she has proceeded to obtain her Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) from the Legal Professional Qualifying Board (LPQB) in the year 2021. 

Yi Lin then chambered in Messrs YC Pang, Chong & Gordan under the tutelage and guidance of the managing partner himself, Mr. Pang Yeow Choy in the year 2021 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in August 2022. She then continued her legal practice with Messrs YC Pang, Chong & Gordon thereafter. 

Yi Lin furthered broadened the depth of her knowledge in the field of commercial law where she proceeded to obtain her Master of Commercial Law from one of Malaysia’s top universities, University of Malaya in the year 2025. 

Throughout her journey of pupillage until her legal practice, she has been focusing and practicing mainly on civil and commercial litigation particularly in land law, contract law, employment law, debt recovery, alternative dispute resolution, and estate law matters. 

• Acted for several major real estate developers in a range of contractual disputes, including matters involving homebuyers and government agencies. 
• Represented one of Malaysia’s largets convenience store chains in the resolution of contractual and copyright-related disputes. 
• Advised and represented both local and overseas clients in managing and resolving court proceedings in Malaysia. 
• Acted for various local SMEs in a broad specturm of disputes, including tortious claims, contractual issues, defamation matters, and employment-related disputes. 
• Represented and advised event organisers in Malaysia, including reviewing and negotiating collaboration agreements for the organisation of concerts. 
• Drafted and reviewed a wide variety of commercial agreements, shareholders’ agreements, collaboration agreements, and luxury vehicle lease and rental agreements. 
• Assisted in corporate restructuring and provided comprehensive employment-related advisory services, including drafting employment contracts and employee handbooks.
