JTJB at IBIA Convention: Singapore
JTJB Senior Partner Danny Chua was a panelist in the Bunker Buyers’ Panel held at Raffles City Convention Centre on 9th November 2017 during IBIA Annual Convention.
The panel considered, from shipowners’ and buyers’ perspective, how to manage a post-O. W Bunker and Hanjin world in order to prepare for 2020.
The Panel moderated by Nigel Draffin consultant, author and lecturer comprised leading maritime professionals from BW Group, Maersk Oil Trading, Chembulk Maritime Singapore and Torm A/S.

JTJB’s Commodities Update & Wine Networking Event
JTJB’s Commodities Update & Wine Networking Event was held on 5th December 2017, Tuesday at The Providore, OUE.
This exclusive event was hosted by Partner, Baldev Bhinder, who provided a short update on trends over the last year in relation to credit defaults and fraud in international trade. Guest speakers from London Metals Exchange (LME) provided updates on fraud mitigation and a financial institution highlighted developments in blockchain technology in international trade.
The update ended with a Q&A session where participants engaged in vibrant discussions and was followed by a networking session.

ENDEMANN.SCHMIDT boosts its team with new hire, Dr. Helen Endemann. Dr. Helen has more than 10 years of experience as an inhouse counsel with DB Deutsche Bahn AG and their affiliates.
Apart from her vast experience in rail transport law, labour law, public health and procurement law, Dr Helen speaks five languages, including, German, Finnish, English, French and Spanish.
