JTJB piloted the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore on their maiden visit to the home of shipping – Piraeus in Greece. The joint mission was organised to attract Greek tonnage to Singapore ports. A series of meetings were held with Greek ship owners and influential industry players. A seminar was also organised where Dato’ Jude Benny and the Chief Executive of MPA RADM Lui Tuck Yew highlighted the modernity of Singapore to the “ancient mariners”.  The visit was described by all parties as a “great success”.
