Trade Credit Insurance Seminar
With the growth of international trade across the world, the use of trade credit insurance (“TCI”) as a risk management tool has become increasingly common. However, the conventional use of TCI may not always fit with evolving sophisticated trade structures.
On the 19th September 2018 JTJB Partner, Baldev Bhinder conducted a breakfast seminar to share his experience working on cases involving double financing and circular trades in both warehousing and high sea sales.
The seminar was attended by clients in the commodity sector including trading houses, financiers and insurers to discuss legal issues arising insuring trade operations in the region.
